Expanding into a greater being

from such a small existence.

She lay in the ground dormant

Until the right conditions came,

And allowed her to grow.

Emerging from her seed coat

she grew roots, shoots and leaves.

And the rain called out drink up

And she drank all she could drink,

Washing away the dirt,

opening up to expand.

And the sun called out feel me

And she felt and saw the light.

And the air called to her breathe me

And she took all she could.

Transforming her structure,

Continuing to grow and expand,

Time moved on and she took all that the

Rain, sun and air could provide.

As the elements came, she knew how

To balance what to take and absorb.

She was rooted to all she had become

She had bloomed.
